Career and Job Placement
There are many opportunities for you to find jobs during and after your studies at Madisonville Community College.
The Office of Career Services maintains a list of jobs available in the region. Current and former students, as well as members of the community are encouraged to use the Madisonville Community College, Office of Career Services, for assistance with career exploration, interview practice, resume preparation or job search assistance.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 21, you may qualify for the Workforce Connections program. Workforce Connections partners with local businesses to place participants jobs related to their field of interest.
Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (K-TAP) and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) eligible students can benefit from the Work and Learn and Ready to Work programs. If you plan to pursue your GED or enroll in other adult education classes, the Work and Learn program can assist you in finding a part time job to provide a source of income during your coursework. Once you enroll in college coursework, you can make the transition to Ready to Work.
