Murray State University

Murray State University has a regional office in the MCC John H. Gray building, on the first floor. They offer the junior and senior years of the following programs in Madisonville:

Western Kentucky University

Western Kentucky University s Owensboro Regional Campus offers several bachelor s degrees including business administration, communication disorders, computer information technology, elementary and middle school education, environmental science, health sciences, history, nursing, psychology, technology management.

Kentucky Wesleyan College

Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC) is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Owensboro, Kentucky. KWC offers bachelor's degrees in 40 majors and 11 pre-professional areas. Lindsey Wilson College

Lindsey Wilson College offers a bachelors degree in human services and counseling on the MCC - Madisonville campus. Students with 60 credit hours will be able to complete the degree in 18 months. The classes are offered Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A master s degree in human services and counseling is also offered. This is a 24-month program, offered on the weekends as described above. Students will be eligible to be a licensed professional counselor. After 2 years of supervision, they can sit for the national test and start a private practice. For students wanting to be a certified drug and alcohol counselor, this master s program can train them for that.
