Madisonville Community College is one of 16 college districts across the Commonwealth of Kentucky that is a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. MCC has served the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky since 1968, and now operates three campuses in two counties. MCC is regionally recognized for its excellence in associate degree programs, most notably Nursing, Advanced Industrial Integrated Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, and other allied health degree areas. The college was the first in the Kentucky system to construct a multi-service fine arts center and also the first to incorporate a Workforce Development Office that serves local business and industry.
Madisonville Community College has been at the forefront of America's two-year colleges in obtaining private and public resources which help us better recruit, advise, educate, and graduate students. From 2003 through 2010 the college is the nation s only two-year college to operate two U.S. Department of Education Title III grants simultaneously, and these grant awards have greatly increased our ability to educate and train our students for rewarding careers. We also offer an array of financial aid resources and award over 300 scholarships each academic year.
