GET ON THE FAST TRACK TO SUCCESS

Want to earn college credit while you’re still in high school? Here’s how to apply for dual credit at MCC and get a head start on a great education.

About Dual Credit

Dual credit courses are college-level courses that simultaneously earn both high school and transcripted KCTCS college credit that counts toward a college degree or credential.  This usually involves students taking general education or technical education classes (welding, technology, business, health sciences) at their local high school or technology center during the school day. These classes may be used to start a career or pursue advanced training after graduation.
