Supporting the Next Generation of EMS Professionals

Madisonville Community College, in partnership with the West Area Health Education Center (AHEC), is expanding financial and career development support for students enrolled in the EMS–Paramedic program. Through the AHEC Scholars program, eligible students can receive stipends, scholarship funding, and professional development opportunities to help remove barriers to success.

The initiative comes as the demand for EMS professionals continues to grow across Kentucky and the nation. By investing in student success and strengthening workforce partnerships, MCC is helping prepare the next generation of highly skilled paramedics to serve communities throughout western Kentucky.
