One-Year Update: Lowe's Foundation Gable Grant

Celebrating 1 Year of Impact! One year ago, our partnership with the Lowe's Foundation began, opening doors for students at MCC. Thanks to the Lowe's Foundation Gable Grants, we’ve transformed our electrical technology and HVAC programs, creating a credential lattice that allows students to complete both programs in just 6 semesters. 

Thanks to the Lowe's Foundation, we have transformed our Electrical Technology and HVAC labs into state-of-the-art experiential learning environments. The new trainers in both labs allow students to safely diagnose problems and troubleshoot solutions, simulating real-world scenarios they will encounter in their careers. They are gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning how to be successful in the skilled trades, all while exploring the inner workings of the machines they’ll be working on.
