The Madisonville College Foundation has been awarded a $15,000 grant from the Gene Haas Foundation to benefit students enrolled in Madisonville Community College’s CNC machining and technology programs. This contribution will fund scholarships for individuals pursuing careers in the growing field of advanced manufacturing and reinforce the college’s recently revitalized associate degree in computerized manufacturing and machining.
“Thanks to the generous backing of the Gene Haas Foundation, students at MCC can follow their passion for machining with fewer financial challenges. These scholarships are playing a key role in shaping tomorrow’s skilled workforce,” said Austin Tarkington, director of advancement at the college.
College leaders emphasize that the Gene Haas Foundation’s investment is instrumental in equipping students for high-skill, high-paying careers both regionally and beyond.
