Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Campus Celebration
Madisonville Community College will host the annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, January 10. The event will take place in the Steve Beshear Postsecondary Education Center on the North Campus from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Community Room. The theme for the day is “Echoing the Dream: Keeping His Vision Alive” and will include performances by the Madisonville North Hopkins Chorus. The keynote speaker for the day will be Rev. Robert Cottoner from Oak Grove Baptist Church. The student recipients of the college’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship will be recognized as well.
