The Regional Education Partnership Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes teaching excellence in elementary, middle, and high school education. Public school partners from Caldwell, Crittenden, Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, and Webster County districts along with Madisonville Community College and Murray State University have created the award to acknowledge the importance of teachers and the teaching profession.

The window for nominations will be open from Monday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 26. To be considered, nominees must be full-time regular classroom teachers in either Caldwell, Crittenden, Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, or Webster County with a minimum of three years of experience. A committee comprised of educators and administrators from each district and representatives from the colleges will select the recipients.
