Madisonville Community College and Big City Market & Coffee Bar to Present Free Seminar on the Solar Eclipse

Madisonville, Ky. – Madisonville Community College Associate Professor of Physics, Dr. Aseem Talukdar, and colleague Dr. George Steedly of Providence will present an educational seminar entitled “Celestial Dynamics and Eclipse Chasing” on the upcoming total solar eclipse. 

The seminar will be held at the Big City Market & Coffee Bar on Thursday, July 20th, at 5:30 p.m.

The presentation and discussion will include a review of the science behind an eclipse, safe viewing and photography techniques, and highlights from Dr. Steedly’s personal eclipse chasing experiences.
