MCC Muhlenberg Campus Receives Grant

Madisonville Community College s Muhlenberg County Campus received award notification of a 2011 Community Grant from the Felix E. Martin, Jr. Foundation in the amount of $19,828.84. The grant funding will be used to purchase 15 computers, 1 printer, and the software license for Visible Body Anatomy to enhance the college s Sadler Learning Center. Students utilize resources in the Sadler Learning Center, such as staff tutors and learning tools, to aid in the study of mathematics and human anatomy, which are requirements for all health care fields of study offered by MCC.

The Felix E. Martin, Jr. Foundation was created by a bequest of $50 million in the will of Mr. Felix E. Martin, Jr. (1927-2007) to benefit the educational, civic, and cultural needs of Muhlenberg County. Through his generosity, the Foundation has cumulatively committed more than $6.1 million in grants to benefit Muhlenberg County.
