MCC EXPANDS ON-LINE COURSE AND PROGRAM OFFERINGS

In response to a growing demand from students interested in pursuing their college goals while fitting their course schedules around work and other demands, Madisonville Community College (MCC) has expanded its on-line course offerings and programs for the fall semester. A listing of fully accredited courses in general education and many program areas can be found in the MCC class schedule located at https://madisonville.kctcs.edu. To locate all of the online course offerings, change the format search to Internet.

Dr. Deborah Cox, MCC Chief Academic Officer, encourages students who may find pursuing a college degree difficult for reasons of geography or competing demands on their time to take advantage of the on-line experience. MCC is proud of the quality and variety of on-line experiences it has to offer students in this region. This college has always been recognized for its exceptional variety of career programs leading to well-paying employment, and the on-line programs that we have to offer make these more accessible to the students in our area. MCC has been recognized as one of the top community colleges in the nation for the past two years by the Aspen Institute and tuition cost is the lowest in the state.

The college currently offers three fully on-line programs for students interested in challenging associate degree professional careers related to paralegal technology, human services, and energy management. Students interested in these programs can contact Aimee Wilkerson at aimee.wilkerson@kctcs.edu or at (270) 824-8696 to register for one of the MCC on-line programs or to request additional information about what MCC has to offer students interested in on-line courses.
