Childcare Provider Training Offered by MCC - October 20

Childcare Provider Training courses are now offered by Madisonville Community College s (MCC) Workforce Solutions office. Childcare providers will have the opportunity to earn 3 clock hours of state approved training on Thursday, October 20. The Planning for Transitions workshop is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. in room 270 of the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy and Advanced Technology Center (2000 College Drive, Madisonville).

Taught by MCC Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education professor and credentialed trainer April Grace, participants will learn to identify different transitions throughout the daily routine and how to help children predict the changes as they come. The workshop will also include information about transitions for children who are new to a program and how to ease the separation.
