- Knowledge and competencies required throughout the brewing process and in a brewing facility
- Preparation for the General Certificate in Brewing exam that is recognized by the Master Brewer's Association of the Americas (MBAA)
- Practical application working in commercial breweries
- An education that will prepare you to work in any aspect of a brewery operation
- A strong foundation in the entrepreneurial aspects of starting a business
Other Information
Applicants must be over 21 years of age for this program. Additionally, students majoring in Fermentation Science may be eligible for scholarship support through the MCC Financial Aid office and the Advancement Office. This program offers an option for an associate degree and several different certificates, but some certificates may not stand alone and may only be acquired while seeking the degree.
