Radiography Application Scoring Guide
Radiography Selective Admission Score Sheet
Note: The admissions committee will complete this score sheet. This is only for reference.
Applicants will be ranked based on their total points, with those achieving the highest scores receiving priority selection. Candidates with the most points will be admitted first.
I. ACT Score:

II. TEAS Score:
All Radiography applicants must take the TEAS test. Additional testing information can be found at www.atitesting.com.
The TEAS test score will only be valid for two years from the test date. Students must wait 30 days between attempts of taking the test and they may only take it 3 times in a 12-month period. The highest score received will be added to the applicant's total point calculations. No points will be given for a score below 59.
III. General Education Classes:
The following General Education classes are required for the Radiography Program. Applicants must have a “C” or higher in all pre-requisite classes.
ENG 101
Social Sciences (3 credit hours)
Heritage or Humanities (3 credit hours)
Points will be awarded based on the following criteria. If you have repeated a class, the highest score will be used in the calculations.
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D or E = 0
IV. Math and Science classes:
The following Math and Science classes are required for the Radiography Program. Applicants must have a “C” or higher in all pre-requisite classes.
MAT 150 or equivalent
BIO 137
BIO 139
Points will be awarded based on the following criteria. If you have repeated a class, the highest score will be used in the calculations.
A = 16
B = 12
C = 8
D or E = 0
V. Previous degree completion:
Only points for the highest degree will be awarded. An additional point is granted if any earned degree is related to healthcare.
Bachelors = 3 points
Master’s = 4 points
VI. Current Registration, License, or Certificate:
Applicants who are currently registered, licensed, and/or certified in an Allied Health or Nursing profession are eligible for additional points in this category. To receive these points, please submit a scanned copy of your registered, licensed, and/or certified along with your application.
Yes = 5 points
No = 0 points
Conditionally accepted students are required to complete the following:
- When directed by notification from the Program Director Dr. Menser, students must
submit a background check and Drug Screening.
- Results of BCI and DS may prevent admission due to clinical agencies' requirements.
- Applicants must have the required immunizations completed before the start of the Radiography program in the Fall.
- Students who need to take BIO 139 must complete the course in the summer term before the start of the program and pass with a “C” or higher. Once completed you MUST email Dr. Menser and tell her about your grade for that class.
