2019 Commencement Ceremonies

MCC will hold the 2019 on Friday, May 10, at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the North Campus. The first ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include associate in arts, associate in science, and nursing program graduates. The second ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include associate in applied science, diploma graduates, and students completing certificates of 15 hours and above from all other academic programs.

The commencement addresses will be delivered by Dr. Aaron Thompson, the newly appointed president of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. The college will recognize Lanie Gardner of Greenville as the distinguished alumna for 2018-2019. Gardner graduated from MCC with an associate in applied science in business administration and currently serves as the community president for First Southern National Bank in Muhlenberg County.

“Graduation is the culmination of our efforts at the college and we are thrilled at the success of our students. We have another outstanding graduating class heading into great careers or onto to transfer at a four-year college or university,” shared Dr. Cindy Kelley, Madisonville Community College President. “It is a wonderful opportunity as well to recognize our distinguished alumna, Lanie Gardner, for her extensive service to our region.”
