Higher education begins at Madisonville Community College. We offer a wide variety of academic programs — from Integrated Nursing to Advanced Integrated Technology — that are career-focused and student-centered.
With an associate degree from MCC, you can transfer to any Kentucky four-year college for your bachelor's degree. Or you can take your associate degree in fields like Medical Information Technology or Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and immediately enter the workforce.
Diplomas are awarded in many fields. Most of the general education courses that are required for degrees are not required in diplomas. Therefore, the time required for completion is shorter than for a degree.
Certificates are even shorter programs of study than diplomas and can often be completed in one semester. They are very targeted credentials and are embedded into the degree programs, so they count for degree completion while at the same time providing an excellent “stand alone” credential for the workplace.
Both diplomas and certificates can be a good entry into the job market, saving time while providing you with job-ready skills.
Enhance your quality of life through our community education offerings or improve your job prospects through any of our adult education and basic skills courses.
