MCC Observes Healthcare Technology Management Week

Madisonville Community College will be observing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Week (May 21-27) with a special program awareness workshop.  The event will be held on Thursday, June 15, from 10 a.m. – noon in room 137 of the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy and Advanced Technology Center located on MCC’s North Campus (2000 College Drive, Madisonville).

The free Biomedical Technology Systems (BTS) program awareness event will include a hands-on defibrillator building workshop.   Participants will learn about the BTS program, the unique and expanding field of Biomedical Equipment Technology Servicing, see medical equipment that is utilized during program lab times, plus assemble a mini working defibrillator.
