MCHS Class of 2013 School Counts! Students Honored

MCC RECOGNIZES SCHOOL COUNTS! CLASS OF 2013 STUDENTS

Thirteen School Counts! Class of 2013 students enrolled at Madisonville Community College (MCC) were recognized during a reception held on September 23 at the MCC Muhlenberg County Campus. Following greetings from MCC President Dr. Judy Rhoads, Muhlenberg County School Superintendent Randy McCarty, and MCC Dean of Students Dr. Jay Parrent, those in attendance were each presented with a NOOK HD Tablet.

These students successfully completed the School Counts! work ethic/scholarship program during their high school years by maintaining a minimum 2.50 GPA each year, achieving a minimum 95% attendance record, taking more than the minimum number of credits required for graduation, completing a community service project, and by completing high school in four consecutive years. They are currently enrolled at MCC and eligible for tuition support up to 12 credit hours each semester for 4 semesters upon enrollment at Funds are applied after KEES, financial aid, and other scholarships have been awarded.
