MCC MUHLENBERG COUNTY CAMPUS REGISTERING STUDENTS FOR SUMMER AND FALL SESSIONS

Students interested in taking courses at Madisonville Community College (MCC) for the summer and fall 2015 semesters can register now. The summer session offers great opportunities for graduating high school students and four-year college students returning home for the summer to pick up an online required course at the very affordable cost of $155 per credit hour. The 4-week Intersession is scheduled for May 18-June 15 and the 6-week summer session runs June 16 to July 27.

The fall schedule at the MCC Muhlenberg County Campus offers students a very attractive variety of classes. Featured on the schedule are:

4 biology classes including Introduction to Biology (BIO 112) which can be accompanied by a 1 credit lab to fulfill the biology with a lab requirement for students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university and basic anatomy and physiology (BIO 135), and Anatomy and Physiology I and II (BIO 137 and 139) for students planning a health career;

2 courses new to the Muhlenberg County Campus History of Kentucky (HIS 240) and Developmental Psychology (PSY 223); and

4 sections of NAA 100 (Nursing Assistant Skills I), required for all students planning a nursing career or who wish to take the state CNA examination to work in a long term care facility or a hospital.

Individuals interested in enrolling in classes may contact the MCC Enrollment Center (270/824-8621) or visit the Muhlenberg County Campus on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to meet with an advisor. Financial aid advisors are available on Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
