CONSTITUTION DAY

Madisonville Community College (MCC) will be observing Constitution Day on Thursday, September 17, with special campus events. On the MCC North Campus (2000 College Drive, Madisonville), the Constitution Day program will begin at 12:15 p.m. in room C90/JHG with the presentation of the flag by the Madisonville North Hopkins High School Honor Guard. The Star-Spangled Banner will be performed by MCC Music Professor Dr. Sara Adams. Featured speaker Patricia Fouse will be sharing her experiences and thoughts on becoming a United States citizen.

A Constitution Day program is planned for the MCC Muhlenberg County Campus (406 West Everly Brothers Blvd., Central City) beginning at 12:15 p.m. in room 109.

On the MCC Health Sciences Campus, information and refreshments will be available in the lobbies of the Hatley Building and the Baptist Health Allied Health Sciences Building.

All Constitution Day events are free and open to the public.


Student Event

In addition to the above events students can also take part by answering a short ten questions quiz about the Constitution. Quizzes will be available September 14 - 16 on the North, Health, and Muhlenberg campuses.

Any student who gets all ten (10) questions correct will have their name placed into a drawing for a prize, they must be present to win. Who on campus can send a mass email to students about the Constitution Day event and quiz?
