Late Start Registration Open for Spring 2019

Registration is ongoing and space is open for a number of late-start courses at Madisonville Community College for the spring 2019 semester. The bi-term begins for students on Monday, March 18. For the first time in many years, selected Saturday courses are also available.

“Students still have a variety of options for fall courses. There are a lot of general education classes, technical classes, and others on all campuses that are open,” commented MCC Dean of Enrollment Management Aimee Wilkerson. “If you missed the January deadline, don’t worry, we have plenty of classes to get you started on a new career or ready for transfer down the road.”

Special Saturday course sections open in the bi-term include classes in welding, nurse aid, and electrocardiogram (EKG) training. Eligible students can still receive financial aid, grants, and scholarships for the spring 2019 semester. The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship is still available and can be used to cover tuition costs for several technical and career degree and certificate programs.
