MCC RESPIRATORY CARE STUDENTS WIN STATE QUICK RECALL COMPETITION

A four member team of 2nd year Respiratory Care students from Madisonville Community College earned the title of State Champion following their participating in the State Sputum Bowl on October 8, 2015, hosted by the Kentucky Society for Respiratory Care (KSRC) in Lexington, Kentucky.

Participating were Sarah Glazebrook (of Providence), Cassie Huckleberry (of Livermore), Rachel Payne (of Fordsville), and Amanda Tomkins (of Slaughters). The KSRC State Sputum Bowl is a quick recall competition that tests students knowledge on all aspects of respiratory care. The event was held during the KSRC State Convention.
