Workforce Transitions encourages workforce-trained students to continue their education by pursuing a certificate or degree through KCTCS. Students may be eligible to receive actual college credit from previously completed job training that will count toward one of our many degree programs.
The benefits of continuing your education are endless. You can receive the training and education needed to climb the corporate ladder, earn promotions and higher pay in the workplace, switch to a better job within your company or elsewhere, or just improve your skills at your current occupation.
We have convenient class times so you can attend classes around your work schedule. We have many night classes, as well as online classes. You can take one class at a time or as many as you prefer. There are scholarships and financial aid available to many students to assist with college expenses.
Our Workforce Transitions Coordinator will help you evaluate any custom training you have received and walk you through each step of the admission process:
- Course evaluations
- Choosing a program of study
- Assistance with admissions forms
- Registering for classes
- Financial Aid and Scholarships
