Aimee Wilkerson, director of enrollment management at Madisonville Community College
(MCC), has been selected as an overall Kentucky Community and Technical College System
(KCTCS) Award of Excellence winner in the administrative support staff category.
Two outstanding staff members and a faculty member who have made extraordinary contributions
to KCTCS and its students are selected by each college. From this group, KCTCS selects
overall KCTCS Award of Excellence winners for each category.
Wilkerson s commitment to student service is unparalleled and she consistently goes
above and beyond to ensure students receive excellent service. Chief Student Affairs
Officer Dr. Jay Parrent shared, Aimee is respected by her colleagues and has worked
hard to support numerous college-wide initiatives over her career. She has a sense
of humor and approaches her work with a tireless focus on the student experience and
what the college can do to improve it.
Wilkerson received a crystal award and $1,000 to use for a professional development
event of her choosing.
