MCC Announces Late Registration and Extended Hours for the Spring 2018 Semester

Madisonville, Ky. – Madisonville Community College is holding late registration for students for the spring 2018 semester until Friday, January 5, with extended hours on Thursday, January 4 and on Saturday, January 6.

To help those students who may be working during the week, the college will offer two extended hour sessions. Offices will be open until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4. The special Saturday admission and registration event will be held on January 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the North Campus. Students may be admitted on the spot and meet with an academic advisor to schedule classes. The college’s financial aid office and bookstore will also be open during that time. No appointment is necessary.

Aimee Wilkerson, dean of enrollment management, stated, “This is a great opportunity for students who may be waiting to make their decision. Advisors are ready and able to help and there are still lots of great classes open.”

Staff will be available to assist students with the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship application as well. This scholarship provides free tuition for selected short-term certificate programs in high demand fields for students without a college degree. Madisonville has over 50 programs eligible for the scholarship.
