MCC TRANSFER WEEK - MARCH 23-27

March 23-27 is Transfer Week at Madisonville Community College! Several local events are planned leading up to Transfer Madness, a virtual transfer fair. Students who wish to transfer their credits or associate degree to a four-year institution are encouraged to participate in the transfer activities to connect with those institutions, ask questions, and better prepare for their future. Participating students will receive free transcripts from MCC (upon request).

Transfer events scheduled are:

Monday, March 23 Transfer Advising Day in the Enrollment Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.; meet with MCC s Transfer Coordinator Lori Johnson to explore transfer opportunities and make sure the classes are correct for transfer.

Tuesday, March 24 MSU Free Transfer Day; stop by room 101 of the John H. Gray Building (MCC North Campus) from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. for onsite admission, advising, and transcript evaluation. Representatives from MSU s Transfer Center will be available to meet with students and talk about degree plans. During the MSU Free Transfer Day, the required $40 application fee will be waived and MCC students transferring to MSU for the first time will receive a free transcript. Wednesday, March 25 MCC Transfer Fair in the Student Center (1st Floor/John H. Gray Building) from 10:30 a.m. 1 p.m.; great opportunity to meet with more than 10 college and university representatives.

Thursday, March 26 Transfer Madness Virtual Transfer Fair from 1-7 p.m. at transfermadness.org; this is the only online, statewide transfer fair where students can chat online with transfer advisors, search for scholarships, download materials and get questions answered at a time that suits their family and work schedules. Application fees will be waived for those who visit a booth during Transfer Madness.
