    MCC to Offer Mining Class Beginning January 10

    MADISONVILLE, Ky.--Madisonville Community College will offer an Elements of Mining class with lab experience January 10-February 4.

    Class time is 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, at the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy and Advanced Technology Center on the MCC North Campus.

    This class prepares students to take the exam for a temporary miners card. Scholarships to cover the cost of tuition are available to those who qualify.
