MCC Hosts Rehabilitation Mini Conference October 1
Madisonville Community College s Workforce Solutions and the Allied Health Division will be offering a Rehabilitation Mini Conference on October 1 for healthcare professionals working in the areas of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.Participants can choose from:
Track 1 ICU Bells amp; Whistles: Understanding the Five Important ICU Criticals (8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.; 6 contact hours)
Track 2 AM A Manual Systematic Approach to Treatment (8:30 a.m. 12N; 3.5 contact hours)
Track 2 PM Sensory Integration: The Brain Body Connection (1-4:30 p.m.; 3.5 contact hours)
Guest speakers during the 12-1 p.m. lunch break include KOTA President-Elect/Vice President Dale Lynn, OTR/L, and KPTA Membership Co-chair Jarrod Evans, PTA. Participants will also have an opportunity to visit and shop in the Exhibitor s Hall.
Registration fees include light breakfast and buffet lunch.
$90 Early Bird (August 1-22) - Track 1 or Track 2 AM and PM
$115 Registration (August 23-September 30) - Track 1 or Track 2 AM and PM

The Rehabilitation Mini Conference begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, in the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy and Advanced Technology Center located on the MCC North Campus at 2000 College Drive in Madisonville. Registration will be available from 7:30-8 a.m. The day concludes at 4:30 p.m. with closing comments and prize drawings.
