Community members and MCC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate
in the donor drive. It s fast and painless, and there is no cost for the screening.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 60 and in general good health, you are eligible
to be screened and join the worldwide registry for patients in need. A simple swab
from the inside of your cheek is all it takes to determine if you are a match.
Gift of Life relies on the generosity of donations to help offset the $60 lab processing fee for each kit, allowing potential donors to be screened for free. For more information about Gift of Life and saving lives through bone marrow donation, please visit www.giftoflife.org or call 1-800-9MARROW.
