Madisonville Community College, in partnership with the Madisonville College Foundation, has launched a campaign to "Dress Up the Glema" to provide essential renovation and updates to prepare the Center for the next 50 years of arts, entertainment, culture, and education.
The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts is a vital part of the mission of Madisonville Community College and serves our surrounding communities and our region with performances throughout the year. Since its opening in 1990, the Glema has had thousands of patrons attend shows and events. Over the years, wear and tear has taken a toll on our facility and it's time to update many of our interior features and technology to ensure the Center can provide the best experience for all patrons. The Glema is a part of the fabric of our community and this campaign will prepare her to continue in that essential role for the next 50 years.
