Overview

The Plus One Tech receives clinical equipment repair training under the close supervision of TRIMEDX management.  Duties include, but are not limited to, planned maintenance inspections, calibrations, repairs of non-complex equipment, inventory projects at new customer sites, validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation.  The Plus One Tech is trained by experienced technicians in the troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment. The individual demonstrates adherence to the TRIMEDX core values in all professional interactions by showing respect to all people, creating real value, initiating meaningful change, and exhibiting integrity.

Responsibilities

Technical Service (75%)

Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on non-complex general biomedical equipment
Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment
Receive training on general biomedical equipment and demonstrate proficiency repairing equipment once trained
Complete 90 day equipment training schedule
Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
Assist with special projects as assigned

Clinical Engineering Field Support (25%)

Provide temporary coverage at sites with resource strains
Temporary support to sites for PA’s, special projects, etc.
Temporary coverage during RSQ training at new sites
Assist with inventory validation for scope expansion projects
Participate on inventory audit teams to existing TRIMEDX sites
Attend inventory validation trips at customer site as needed
Follow TRIMEDX process for matching & tagging medical equipment at new customer site
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

BA/BS in relevant field of study such as (but not limited to) engineering, biomedical technology, or information technology is preferred
Associates degree in a technical/electronics field, or equivalent military training required
Completion of a biomed internship is preferred

off-shift Engineering Technician at the Graham, Kentucky facility.  

Responsibilities:

· Provide daily hands-on support to Engineering or other personnel.

· Duties may include mixing, loading, extrusion, pressing, testing, assembly,

preparation of associated documentation and materials movement.

· Assist in design and layout of new or modified products and processes.

· Integration of Lean principles and problem solving tools in areas as assigned.

·Data entry and analysis on various product or processes characteristics.

· Perform inspections and other checks to verify conformance to requirements.

· May be required to participate in significant projects, such as construction and new facility startup; assume additional responsibilities necessary to achieve company goals; and may need to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

· Mistake Proofing skills a must

· Occasional off-site travel may be required.

Requirements:

·High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 32 college credit hours in a technical program, or approximately 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings.

· Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing required.

· Experience using Solidworks or other CAD-type software is a plus

· Strong PC and interpersonal communication skills desirable.

EBAD seeks an X-Ray Technician in its Graham, Kentucky facility.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Duties will include operation of industrial X-Ray machine, capable of both real-time and Computed Radiography (CR) imaging (non-film).

·         Perform specific tests, calibrations, and specific product or product form interpretations and evaluations for acceptance or rejection in accordance with approved Radiographic Technique Sheets and procedures and direction from the EBAD Level III Radiographer.

·         Document results in accordance with specific procedures.

·         Compile reports of inspections performed and notification of those results to appropriate individuals in a timely manner.

·         File storage and maintenance of images stored.

·         Assist QA Department in other activities such as Lab /  Analysis, Receiving Inspection, and Testing of Energetic materials.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Candidate must meet specific near vision and color perception requirements.

·         Level 2 Certification in accordance with NAS 410 is preferred.  In the absence of  Level 2 certification, Level 1 certification, or capability to achieve Level 1 certification within 90 days may be considered.

·         For EBAD certification at either level, the successful candidate must have sufficient practical experience to assure they are capable of performing the duties of the level for which certification is sought. Inability to become certified to the desired Level will result in disqualification.

·         Ability to travel and attend off-site training up to 1 week in duration is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Familiarity with ASTM E 1742 and NAS-410 specifications and practices desirable.

·         2-5 years experience in a Lean manufacturing environment desired.

·         Experience with DoD contracts, materials, & specifications desirable but not required.

·         Background in Chemistry or standard inspection techniques preferred.

Responsibilities:

 

·         Responsible for procurement of raw materials, machined components, contract manufacturing & services in support of EBAD Graham, KY Operations team.

·         Experience working with Aerospace and Defense procurement products and processes.  Coordinates procurement activities with Production, Quality, Engineering and other personnel for maximum operational effectiveness. 

·         Functions include ERP / MRP system planning, supplier selection & development, negotiation with suppliers, scheduling, supplier contract management, conflict resolution and maintaining cost-effective inventory control for all materials. 

·         Ensures that all regulatory requirements with respect to purchasing, storage, and transportation of materials are adhered to.  

·         Develops procurement justification packages and procurement cost analysis in accordance with the requirements of FAR/DFAR. 

·         Leads or participates in continuous improvement activities. Provide input in the Supplier Development process by evaluating suppliers’ performance and communicating with suppliers to facilitate improvements in cost, quality and delivery. 

 

Requirements:

 

·         A bachelor’s degree and minimum of two years of relevant experience or a related two year post high school diploma/certificate, and a minimum of six years of relevant experience. 

·         Must possess core competence in purchasing and materials control services, MRP/ERP systems  

·         Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal communication.

·         Strong background in Lean Manufacturing concepts desirable. 

·         Proficient PC skills in a Window environment. 

·         Ability to work independently

·         Master’s degree, CPSM and/or CPCM certification a plus.
