"Slaves and Slavery in Pre-civil War Kentucky - February 19, 2013

On Tuesday, February 19, Dr. Robin West, MCC History Instructor, will present “Slaves and Slavery in Pre-civil War Kentucky” beginning at 6 p.m. in room 270 of the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy & Advanced Technology Center. The event is free and open to the community. Focusing on slavery, this presentation will explore the experience of Black Americans in Kentucky in the years prior to the American Civil War.
