Garth Gamblin Scholarship

The Garth Gamblin Scholarship was established by The Messenger, Garth Gamblin, and other donors for persons with disabilities attending Madisonville Community College. The scholarship is open to students with a disability who have completed at least one semester at MCC. Applications are due by the end of the first week of classes of the semester applying. The amount of the award ($500 maximum) will be determined on a case by case basis and is not limited to tuition and books. The scholarship can be awarded to the same student for two semesters. A new application is required for the second semester. Semesters need not be consecutive. The committee will take the following factors into consideration: the applicant’s GPA, financial need, and placement scores.
