Selection Process
Students are admitted to the program once a year, in the fall semester. Applications for admission are due March 1. The top 20-25 candidates determined from the established point system will be required to participate in a formal interview with the OTA program admissions committee to determine the 16 students to be recommended for admission into the OTA program. Enrollment in the OTA Program may be limited due to available facilities at the college or in the community. Selection of students for the OTA Program will be a made by the President of the College or the President’s designee after considering the recommendations based on college and program admission requirements.
Admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is open to all qualified students regardless of economic or social status, and without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex marital status, age, national origin, mental or physical disability.
