Information for Students

When you become a Ready to Work participant, we help you:

• Assess career goals and choices
• Complete the Department of Community Based Services Verification forms (enrollment, employment, housing, income, etc.) 
• Navigate the enrollment and financial aid process
• Connect with advisors, instructors and counselors
• Advocate for special assistance on- and off-campus
• Find help with your classes on- and off-campus
• Find a job on- or off-campus.
• Meet and network with peers

You may be able to earn a salary through Work Study. Your Work Study income will not reduce your K-TAP check. We can also provide school supplies such as paper, pens, and calculators.
