MARTIN SCHOLAR INFORMATION SESSION & OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULED FOR MAY 9

Thinking of going back to school to finish your degree but need a little cash to make it happen? Become a Martin Scholar!

The Muhlenberg Campus of Madisonville Community College (MCC) will host an Information Session & Open House on May 9 beginning at 5 p.m. MCC will have representatives from admissions, academic advising, registration, and financial aid onsite to answer questions about how to get started.

The Felix E. Martin, Jr. Foundation and MCC want to help make your plans for achieving an associate degree a reality. The Martin Scholars program is specifically designed to help Muhlenberg County adults, age 22 and older with at least 30 college-level credit hours, to complete their associate’s degree. Students accepted in the program will receive a $250 cash stipend each semester they make satisfactory progress. In addition, participants will receive a $400 bonus when they complete their associate’s degree at MCC.

If you have any questions, you may contact Penny Jessup, Student Affairs Specialist, at (270) 757-9881. The Muhlenberg Campus is located at 406 W. Everly Brothers Blvd in Central City.
