Emergency Notification

Madisonville Community College’s standard procedure during inclement weather is to remain open and hold classes as scheduled. Campus closures are rare; however, should the weather become severe enough to warrant closing the campus, MCC will notify you about campus closings, delays, or emergencies though our Safety Notification Alert Process (SNAP) system. SNAP notification options include phone, text, and email messaging.

In addition to SNAP, notifications will be sent through KCTCS student email, posted on the college home page, and posted on the college Facebook page, when accessible. The following local television and radio stations will also be contacted. As always, use your own judgment when determining whether it is safe to travel in your area.
